Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell met as co-stars in the 2023 romantic comedy, Anyone But You. Immediately, they found themselves at the center of public speculation during and after the film’s release.

The rumors surrounding their potential romantic relationship have continued into 2025, fueled by media coverage, social media buzz, and recent sightings that have only deepened public curiosity.

The rumors began in mid-2023 while the duo was filming Anyone But You, a rom-com featuring an enemies-to-lovers plot.

During press tours and behind-the-scenes footage, fans noticed their undeniable chemistry, both on and off screen. Their flirtatious banter, playful interactions, and physical closeness during interviews led to widespread speculation that the co-stars were romantically involved.

In April 2023, Gigi Paris unfollowed Sweeney on Instagram and posted a cryptic caption suggesting emotional tension. Fans interpreted it as a response to the rumored relationship between Powell and Sweeney. Not long after, Powell and Paris reportedly broke up.

Despite the gossip, both Sweeney and Powell publicly denied any romantic involvement. In interviews, they emphasized that their chemistry was part of the job. Sweeney later remarked that creating buzz around the film was a strategic move, saying, “Sometimes you just have to lean into it a bit—and it worked wonderfully.” 

However, the rumors were reignited in early 2025 when Sweeney reportedly ended her engagement to Davino. Shortly after the breakup, she was spotted at the rehearsal dinner for Glen Powell’s sister’s wedding in Dallas, Texas. 

This appearance added fresh fuel to the fire, with fans and media outlets once again speculating that the two actors might be involved romantically. There still has been no official confirmation from Sweeney or Powell.

As of now, neither Sweeney nor Powell has publicly addressed their current relationship status. Both continue to focus on their individual careers. Sweeney is attached to several upcoming projects, including a legal drama and a psychological thriller, while Powell is set to star in a high-profile action film.
